The Ocean Reef Library is located at the Cultural Center and is staffed by volunteers from the community. It operates as a functional library, offering books for check-out and scheduled return or paperbacks on a return-when-finished basis. It also offers wireless Intenet access as well as computers for Internet access. Its hours vary by season.

Also at the Ocean Reef Cultural Center is the Historical Society's Museum. The interactive museum depicts more than 60 years of Ocean Reef history, including its recreation, restaurants, institutions, traditions, community clubs and organizations, real estate and -- of course -- its golf carts. Admission is complimentary.
