2020 Ocean Reef Census Closes Wednesday: Satisfaction Survey vs. Census

Only a few days remain as we approach the Census closing date of Wednesday, February 26. So far we have had a terrific response from our Membership but there are two things we are still missing. The first is… you. If you have not already filled out your Ocean Reef Club Census we really do need to hear from you. The more responses we have, the more accurate our results become. That in turn provides the best information for the Club’s Board of Directors and Management teams to plan for the future.

The second is for those that started their Census Survey that have not finished to go back and complete the survey. This is critical because the more complete responses we have the more accurate our information is across all different Member types. This also helps in understanding differences within a Membership category, for example do longtime Members love the Raw Bar as much as newer Members? Answer in 2010…yes. Answer for 2020…we will only know if more of you that started the Census, go back and finish your survey. You can pick up right where you left off by clicking the link in any past email invitation to take the Census. We will be sending a final reminder link one last time as well.

Please also keep in mind the “Satisfaction Survey” is NOT the Census. A simple way to know the difference, in the Census we would ask how often you dine in the Raw Bar and other restaurants, frequency being the focus. The Satisfaction Survey asks about the quality of the food and service. Also if you weren’t directed to a final page for a complimentary cocktail coupon and sweepstakes registration you did not take the Census.

The end is near, yet that is really just the beginning. Once the Census closes, the Research Company will begin to organize the results and we will have some preliminary information at the Annual Meeting on April 16. If you already completed the Census, many thanks to you. If you have not taken the Census, please give 25 minutes and do so, if you have already started please take the extra time to complete it.
