This article is not about financial savvy. It is however, about high interest, return on investment and income. These are the three things that the Ocean Reef Community Foundation’s All Charities Weekend are really all about. Our hope is, if you aren’t already, that you’ll get involved and experience all three.

High Interest
No, we aren’t talking about the “fruit of money,” but we are talking about passion, or more specifically, a personal high level of interest to make a difference for those around you and those in need. For some, this level of interest has been described as a “calling” and they are compelled to give, seeking nothing in return. But we already know, the returns are many.

Return on Investment
Giving doesn’t just “feel good.” You can visibly see the benefits of getting involved in All Charities Weekend. Whether you donate an unforgettable experience for the live auction, an interesting item for the silent auction, a priceless bottle of wine, or your valuable time as a volunteer, you will see results of your efforts, your return on investment, through our local recipient partners – The Medical Center at Ocean Reef, Art League, Cultural Center, Academy, ORCAT and OR Conservation Association. These iconic entities at Ocean Reef are what make this community so special and they would not exist as we know them today without the amazing support for All Charities Weekend. You can also join one of the Foundation’s charity tours to see first hand the impact Ocean Reef Members have on the lives of thousands in our surrounding communities.

Income
Ocean Reef has a strong boating history. Any boat or yacht owner knows the significant expense in managing that asset. It’s no surprise to hear that many outside the marine world might see a boat as a poor financial investment.
