Food & Wine Chef Lineup Announced
7th Annual Food & Wine Festival
April 24 – 26
The Food & Wine Festival’s delectable cuisine and luscious libations will be on your plate and in your glass before you know it. We’ve finalized our expert chef lineup and for the first time in its seven-year history, Food & Wine will see an all-female roster. After an engaging performance at last year’s Festival, Paula DaSilva is the first of these culinarians we welcome back.
Though Emeril Lagasse was last year’s headliner, Paula was definitely a star of the show – and she is not a new name to Ocean Reef. Paula has been doing Cooking School Classes at Carysfort Kitchen for several years and has always been a Member favorite.
A love for cooking that began as a child has propelled Paula to celebrity chef stardom. After beginning her professional culinary career at 3030 Ocean at the Harbor Beach Marriot, finishing runner-up on season five of FOX’s Hell’s Kitchen with Gordon Ramsay, becoming executive chef of 1500 Degrees in South Beach, and more, DaSilva has climbed her way up to The Ritz-Carlton, Fort Lauderdale. As executive chef, she oversees all culinary operations, including banquets, in-room dining, pool and beach, while also overseeing the menu at The Ritz-Carlton’s Burlock Coast. Paula is known for her soulful, farm-fresh style of cooking that she will soon bring back to Ocean Reef.
The other talented chefs that will stir up our 2020 Food & Wine kitchens, include Miami’s
Cindy Hutson and Lorena Garcia. Both chefs bring a mastery of flavorful cuisine inspired by the Caribbean and Latin America.
Event passes are $550+ per person. For more information or to purchase your ticket, call 305-367-6526 or visit oceanreef.com/foodandwine.
