Master Artists En Plein Air

Perhaps over the last few days you have noticed the 20 Master Artists around the Club capturing our special surroundings. “The unveiling and opportunity to interact with some of the finest artists of the Plein Air tradition has become one of the most popular events at Ocean Reef,” said Sherri Harris, Art League Executive Director.

One artist who is here for the first time is Catherine Hillis, who taught a watercolor class at the Art League earlier this week. During her class, she concentrated on how to create atmosphere with each of her students. A world-renowned artist, she was excited to get out and search those special Reef locations for her debut on Thursday as Mary Biddinger described the innumerable possibilities.

Hosted by Ocean Reef Club Sotheby’s International Realty, “the collection of work that is created in such a short time reflects the raw talent of these artists,” adds President of Ocean Reef Club Sotheby’s International Realty Russell Post who continually encourages and supports this event.
