Ocean Reef Dining Prevails

We can always count on our Culinary Team to come to the rescue. We are extremely lucky they now are providing Private Dining, delivery, and take-out to Members throughout the day. Dennis Courtney, Director of Outlets-Food and Beverage, shared some of the changes and services available right now. The evolution of planning and preparedness started weeks ago and this has resulted in an advanced and efficient system ready to provide an enormous variety of meals to Members.

If you prefer the personal touch, phone numbers are listed on the menus for each restaurant, but another option is to go to oceanreef.com/diningoptions and follow the easy steps.

Our Commissary
Dennis reassured me that trucks are arriving daily with food for The Reef. There has been no interruption in our supply chain.

Just to keep it interesting for Members, some changes have been made already. Dennis shared that more family-style meals have been added this week. The popular Reef Hut lasagna, the Burgee Bar French Dip for four with sides, and Gianni’s family style pastas are just a few options, leftovers anyone?

Delivery is going quite smoothly and along with our regular delivery vehicles, Dennis explained that 10 vans were rented to add to the fleet. Evidently, Members are choosing delivery more than pick up. When ordering, you can choose your preferences for delivery and personnel will arrive taking all necessary precautions.

So what are Members ordering? A bit of everything, but the Islander sushi is a big hit, along with pasta from Gianni, and of course pizza from all outlets.

Dennis shared that Food and Beverage staff has always had a safe preparation procedure in place, but have added extra precautions following CDC guidelines and additional sanitizing conditions.
